My entry into advertising was certainly not linear. Before advertising I’d done many jobs, from floor and wall tiling to life insurance underwriting. Whilst this may seem irrelevant to making ads, it think it helps narrow the empathy gap for me. 
I’ve been at TBWA\Melbourne for 11 years. My campaign experience spans automotive, higher education, banking and finance, health insurance, government, tourism, technology, and not-for-profit sectors. My work has received recognition in major national and international awards, including D&AD and Cannes. 
In 2019, I was promoted to Creative Director and helped lead successful work for South Australia Tourism Commission, Deakin University Australia and G’Day Parks. In 2023, following the birth of my daughter, I decided to get back on the tools to balance life a little better.
Doing what I do is enriching on many levels. Being paid to think, the opportunity to make people laugh, cry, be inspired, be heard, or see the world differently and to create such meaningful work with wonderfully talented and like-minded people is what keeps me going.
